1 Scope
This standard specifies a series of test methods for the high peel strength of adhesive tapes.
This standard is applicable for the determination of the peel strength of adhesive tapes, used for quality control of adhesive tape products.

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T22396 and the following apply to this document.
3.1
Peel Strength
The force required to peel a unit width of adhesive tape from a specific adhesive surface at a certain angle and rate. Unit: N/cm
3.2
Test Assembly
The assembly formed by pasting the adhesive tape to be tested on a steel plate.
3.3
Surface Average Roughness
The arithmetic average deviation of the roughness profile. That is, the arithmetic average of the absolute values of the roughness profile deviations over the sampling length.
